Music at St. Mark’s
At St. Mark’s, music is at the heart of our shared spiritual journey. We celebrate a diverse range of songs—from ancient hymns to contemporary works, from the Anglican tradition to expressions from cultures around the globe. Each melody connects us, weaving together the stories of our faith through time.
If you’re interested in joining our music ministry, please reach out to Mark or call the church office. You’re also welcome to drop by the choir loft after Sunday service to learn how you can get involved. We invite everyone—no auditions, no matter your background or experience.
The Eric Panter Memorial Fund for Music
At St. Mark’s, our Music Ministry is supported in part by the Eric Panter Memorial Fund for Music, established in loving memory of Eric Panter (1986–2022). Eric was a beloved choir member and a devoted volunteer. You can help sustain his legacy and our ministry by clicking here and selecting the donation option for the Eric Panter Memorial Fund for Music.
Ways You Can Get Involved
The Adult Choir sings a wide range of choral music—from classical and modern to folk, spiritual, and gospel. We meet on Wednesday evenings from 7:00 to 8:30 p.m. during the school year, and our membership is open to anyone in high school and older. We're a lively, dedicated group with varying levels of experience, united by our love for music and community. There are no auditions—just a warm invitation to join us. If you'd like to sing with us, simply send Mark an email!
At St. Mark’s, our Choristers are a joyful group of children who love to sing, learn about music, and have fun together. Through singing, playful games, and creative activities, they develop musical skills, deepen their faith, and build lasting friendships with our church family. All children in grades K and up are welcome to join. We meet in the Common Room on Wednesdays from 6:00 to 6:45 p.m. For more details, just send Mark an email.
