Youth Group: Most Sundays after the late service. Students in grades 6-12 are invited to join Youth Group. We typically meet each week for 2 hours on Sunday afternoons for lunch, social events, games, field trips, or outreach activities. Approximately four times per year the youth head downtown to the Trinity Center to prepare a meal and lead worship services. To get on the Youth Group Mailing list so you can know details for upcoming meetings, send an email to Eric Panter by clicking here.
Become an Acolyte! Acolytes are an integral part of the worship services. St. Mark’s acolytes range in age from fourth grade through high school (and we welcome back our college students anytime), and serve at 9:00 a.m. and 11:00 a.m. (or 10 a.m. in the summer months), as crucifer, gospel book bearer and torchbearers. Contact: Jay Brown
Youth Lectors: Youth are invited to participate in services through reading of the Lessons, Psalm, and Prayers of the People at the 9 a.m. service. Contact: Becky Janes
Youth Ensemble: geared towards students in grades 6 and higher. The youth develop vocal production and part-singing skills, while preparing music in a variety of styles. Sunday rehearsals during the academic year are approximately twice-a-month from 12:15 – 1:00 p.m. in Grace Chapel. All are welcome, come sing with us!
